Pump Columns & Formed Suction Intakes

Arntzen has over 20 years experience designing and fabricating pump columns and formed suction intakes for storm water and waste water sump pump stations & Lift Stations. All parts are custom fabricated to project specifications and to AWWA C200; all welds are full penetration and liquid dye penetrate tested in-house. Coatings are done in accordance to AWWA C210; which requires a SSPC-SP 10 commercial blast cleaning prior to coating. Tnemec & Sherwin Williams are the most commonly used coal tar epoxy used. Some sump pump applications require that the vertical column meet up with a formed suction intake. Formed Suction Intakes, FSI, meet US Army Corps of Engineers and Hydraulic Institute Standards. USACE engineering and design manual EM 1110-2-3105 FSI type 1 and FSI type 10, referencing ETL 1110-2-327. Also, Hydraulic Institute Standard HI 9.802.2.2, Pump Intake Design 2012, replacing HI Pump Intake Design 1998 Figure 9.8.3 Type 10 formed suction intake. We offer discharge piping with flanged or coupling connections.
