Rolled and Welded Steel Cones
Arntzen Corporation fabricates concentric cones, eccentric cones, and offset cones. We also press brake form square to round transitions and rectangle to round transitions. With over 64 years of cone rolling experience and 18 plate rolls, Arntzen offers one of the widest ranges of cone rolling capability in the industry.
Each project begins with a custom DXF cutting file to ensure accurate blank development for rolling or press forming full cones or cone sections. Our skilled team then forms the material using precision plate roll equipment to produce high quality steel cones. Arntzen Corporation rolls and welds rings and ring segments from most formable grades of bar and plate. Sections include flat bar, round bar, and square bar. Flat bar rings can be rolled hard way or easy way, with joints welded or left as open butt joints. Welded rings can also be thermal stress relieved.
Rolling capabilities range from 10 inch to 180 inch diameters, thicknesses from three sixteenths inch up to three inches, and a wide range of widths.
Rolled Structural Shapes
Arntzen rolls structural shapes including angles, channels, beams, tees, pipe, tube, and rails. Common rolling orientations include hard way, easy way, leg in, leg out, heel in, heel out, hard way web, easy way web, ball in, ball out, and ball up. Components can be produced as full rings or segments with or without tangents.
